I'm trying to figure out now what to serve for a New Year's Eve party here and I am so sick of cooking. I was going to do a Quiche, bisque and some finger sandwiches with a fruit and veggie tray...... and then my daughter decided that she can come over that evening and she HATES Quiche. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) I just found a recipe for Salmon Satay with Orange Jasmine Rice to fix. Everyone in the family likes salmon so this should go over well. For Christmas I got a couple of rings (WAY too large!), a necklace and a coordinating pair of earrings, a beautiful scarf, a couple of books, DVDs ("Heroes", Season 3 and 4) and a yogurt maker that we're all laughing about. It did not come with the freeze-dried culture so the instructions say to use store bought yogurt to make homemade yogurt. (If I have to go buy it, why do I need to make it???) The weirdest gift I got was a Zombie Apocalypse Bug Out Bag! My son-in-law put it together and my daughter told him 1) he shouldn't be "feeding" my (so-called) zombie obsession but 2) if he insisted on doing it, make it as "true to life" as possible. And he did! I'll tell you what's in it later. I'm still looking through it. It is packed!

Ely, flew into salt lake then drove down to it. Went thru a few other towns but Ely is where i stayed at. My father was working on a wind park being built there and i visited then helped drive cross country back home. We checked out Kalamazoo, Telegraph Canyon and the likes while down there. God its beautiful. I want to go aback next summer and just spend like a week straight in the mountains. Just go in with a pack, GPS, a .22, and dont come out till i have to.
