ah it was YOUUUUUU!!! IC: DAMN you to hell Dirge!!!!! OC: Glad you found our site here friend. We've had a few talks over here about the ZK'n going on over here in Griggs now. Are you new to the suburb? I've noticed that this burb is a little different since the PK War. Never saw many ZK'ing going on before we left. But I tell you what, if you ever want to slip over to the dark side and attack the HARMANZ! and get the full XP out of it....let us know. We'll invite you into the group with open arms. Also, check in and talk with us anytime you want. You can even start your own threads if you want. We love the conversation over here in Tote-ville. Party ON ;D IC: ZAMHBAH BANG-BANG! AH GRAB ZAMHBAH BRA!NZ! OC: Yes, Derge is pretty new around this town. He's wandered all the way from Ridleybank so as to keep away from my survivor alt, the Real Ira Poon. (I got my Ira Poon killed by accident. Don't ask how. ) As to whether he'll join in with the dark side.... well, currently I'm pretty happy with Derge as this zombie who's trying to fight against his "zombie-ness" (see his journal over in the wiki), sort of like the RP in the Vampire the Requiem. Besides, I've already got my affilation with the RRF over in NW and there's work + uni that is driving me crazy atm so there is little chance that I'll join in another group for the moment. But I'll hang around with you lot sometime, though, when I can.

well, I understand....your part of the RRF and that can be a handful in it's self. How are they doing under the new leadership? Heard that Sonny stepped down.

Well, I don't know much about the RRF in UD atm. I'm part of the RRF in Nexus War (you know NW, right?). But it seems to me they're doing pretty well. Just managed to screw over Dunningwood along with others in the Big Bash (Real Ira Poon actually died for the first time, ever, since Dunningwood is a bit of a bore before that).

Just remember to ask him nicely (with a shotgun blast to the head) next time you're combat revived. I really see no point in ZKing. PKers normally have a manifesto explaining the reason. Since the undead normally suffer from BRA!NZ! damage (rot is not typically thought process friendly) it doesn't make sense. Not to mention that you only get half the XP you'd get for attacking harmanz. Whilst everyone else is drinking Dom Perignon and eating fine cheese you're drinking kool-aid and eating government cheese. Does this really make any sense?

When I decided to post on this forum, I had thought that the people here are not like those immature, trenchcoaters who cannot understand the meaning of "role-playing" and insults those who do, and thinks PKing are unacceptable behaviour when such actions are part of the game. Apparently this is not the case.
I'm off.

Apparently this is not the case. I'm off. PKing is acceptable. I was merely pointing out that ZKing doesn't make sense. Look at all the PKer groups. All of them state a reason for PKing whether it be philosophical or a government coverup. I just don't see how a zed can do the same with ZKing. Our BRA!NZ! are putrefying. A zombie's main concern is it's next meal. They may work together in teams to achieve this but so do many types of animals. I just wanted to see if there was any sort of logic behind your ZKing. Apparently not since you viewed everything that was said as an attack.

Ok, I've come back since after some thought, I find that my behaviour has been a bit immature. So I apologize if I offended anyone. When I created Derge, I was thinking about vampires from Vampire:the Requiem (actually, it started off as a copy of Dirge from the flash movie Xombies! But eventaully I borrowed more and more stuff from VtR). For those who haven't heard anything about White Wolf (a tabletop RPG company), one of the themes of VtR is dealing with the fact that the character has become a monster: they have to drink blood (which means killing people) and have to stay away from the sun. Such a theme is quite fitting for a zombie who hasn't quite lost his mind and still has his HARMANZ! emotions and feelings (for those who try to argue about this, my argument is that in the game, someone actually gesture to Derge and cried "Zambah Nah Zambah!" I seriously doubt that animals that functions only on instincts can work with complex languages as such). Derge is one such character: he was completely horrified when he saw a zombie killing a HARMANZ!. In his mind he was thinking, "Is that what I am? Is that what I'm supposed to be? Is that what I'll become?" And his answer to that was a "no", he was not a monster because he can still choose, and his choice was to side with the HARMANZ! as a zombie, which to him is a symbol of his identity. After his first revive, however, Derge realized that that symbol is lost, since all survivors will kill zombies, and that means that he's become just one of a crowd. So he doesn't like being a HARMANZ!. For more info: wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Journal:_DergeAlso, btw, there used to be Zker groups such as the Redeemed and the Zombie Inquisition, though the latter seems to be more of a CCC type of group than a dedicated Zker group.

Glad to see you back Derge You're welcome to post here anytime you want. Role Play is a huge part of this game, as you said. I never want there to be any hard feelings from any visitors that come to our site.

I just wanted to see if there was anything behind it. As for the animal thing I just want to say that the language skills are learned as you aquire them later in the game. So in a sense it's akin to a learned behavior from an animal of beyond average intelligence. I'm not arguing your choice. I really was interested in what you were basing your roleplay on.
